Oracle Database Administrator and Application Developer – Honeywell
This position will report to our Manager of Software Engineering and work closely with our other software developers, testers, and support teams to continuously design, deliver and support roadmap items for Honeywell software products.

Responsibilities:
· Design, implement and deliver our committed projects on-time using our defined agile processes.
· Lead Oracle database upgrade design planning, design estimates and scripting development to support our planned Oracle 12c -> 19c upgrades.
· Ensure our product is current with Oracle related patching
· Proactively lead and mentor team in Oracle related performance tuning improvements
· Testing and improving PL/SQL performance
· Analyzing and improve our Oracle database partitioning, table consolidation.
· Proactively participate in a cross-functional agile teams, working closely with other software developers, firmware developers, testers, Product Managers, documentation specialists, customer training specialists, customer support engineers, system verification engineers, and other functions.
· Work with stakeholders and team members to clarify and define feature test acceptance criteria.
· Actively participate in short daily standups, weekly story workshops, and other team activities.
· Participate in code reviews and adhere to existing coding standards and development processes.
· Work closely with your team to ensure we maximize the value and quality of the projects we deliver to our customers.
· Work with the team to review and ensure new content has adequate automated test coverage.
· Support a team-based approach to continuously deliver value to our customers, while focusing on individual technical excellence.
· Capture and drive opportunities to improve our product back into product management which will improve customer satisfaction, the user experience, increase revenue and/or reduced product cost.
· Ensure the new content we deliver conforms to Honeywell security requirements.

· Previous development experience in a windows and Linux environment
· Development experience with Java, JavaScript, JSON, C++.
· Experience with the Altassian tool suite (confluence, Jira, bitbucket, etc)
