Description

A leading Steel Manufacturing Company in Kizad – Abu Dhabi is seeking immediate placement:

Requirements:

Responsible for day-to-day accounts activities
Cash and bank payment verification
Creditors / Debtors Reconciliations
Scheduling of payment based on projected sales
Statutory Accounts finalization as per Local regulations
Scrutiny of all accounting ledgers (Weekly/Monthly/Yearly Basis)
Responsible for correspondence, resolution, and interacting directly with vendors on all issues
Attend to queries from suppliers and internal customers
Participate in the formation and implementation of company financial plans and budgets
Assist with preparation of the year end closing and audit process
Manage cash flows
Monthly Bank reconciliations to be done in a timely and accurate manner
Monthly MIS to be completed before 5th of following month
Controlling the credit function
Managing the Credit Insurance and timely reporting
Annual statutory Auditing completion
VAT return handling
Assist/back up for petty cash custodian in releasing cash for employee reimbursements, travel advance and petty cash requirements
Maintain related records, including contracts and change orders
Coordinate and facilitate projects related payments
Ad-Hoc reporting to Senior management as and when required
Preparation of various Management reports at the request of management
Final Settlement and cash salary payment
Other ad-hoc tasks as instructed by HOD.

Knowledge and Experience:

At least 7-8 years experience within a similar role.
Good academic background / Degree preferably in accounting or finance. CA inter / Mcom would be preferred
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Good IT skills including spreadsheet and database applications.
Sound verbal & written communication skills.
Team player with the ability to contribute to the development of finance department
Good planning and organising skills with the ability to set priorities under pressure
Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative
Able to maintain a positive approach under the pressure of deadlines.
Administrative experience
A flexible and proactive approach is required to meet the demands of the role.
Commitment to Continuing Professional Development is also required.
Holder of valid UAE driving license would be preferred
Aptitude in problem-solving and ability to handle multiples tasks
Commitment to Continuing Professional Development is also required
Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative
Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
